About The Artist

David Moreschi's introduction to painting began under the tuteledge of Arthur Maynard at the "Barn Gallery" in Ridgewood, N.J. He then moved on to study with the renowned anatomist and teacher Robert Beverly Hale at the Art Students League of New York. After briefly studying with Alex Minewski at the University of New York at New Paltz, he returned to the Art Students League to study with Frank Mason. It was there he became aquainted with the theorys and techniques of the old masters. They remain an important influence on his work right up to this day.

All of David's works are painted on hand prepared panels, canvas or paper according to the tried and true recipes of the old masters. They will last indefinitely.
